Corporate Commercial Lawyer

Great opportunity for a Corporate Associate to join a respected Central London firm, working with national and international clients.

The role will involve supporting a Partner and conducting general company commercial and corporate work.  As well as a strong academic background, the successful candidate will be a 2 year PQE solicitor who can demonstrate solid post qualification experience. You must be able to manage a wide variety of cases in a busy commercial department with a diverse client base.

You should be commercially focused, have excellent knowledge of transactional processes, exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work independently under minimal supervision, have a flair for negotiation and confidence in relationship building. The successful candidate will demonstrate a willingness and ability to get involved in marketing and developing the department.  You  will also be highly organised with efficient workload management capabilities to work under pressure with conflicting deadlines.

Essential Requirements:

Must be sufficiently experienced to take on a range of corporate and company commercial  work including but not limited to: commercial contracts, IP, technology licences, sponsorship and share-holder agreements, Terms of Business,  GDPR and data protection, privacy matters, general corporate advice work.

  • 2/3 years post qualification experience
  • Good research and technical expertise.  Must be detail orientated
  • A flexible and positive attitude in managing multiple time-sensitive matters simultaneously
  • Some supervisory experience to guide juniors/paralegals
  • Clear, concise effective verbal and written communication
