Respected Central London firm are seeking a diligent, confident, self-motivated, and experienced lawyer to join a busy property department focusing on residential property work. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest and proven ability in business development as well as a pro-active approach to risk management. The role requires a diligent, confident, self-motivated, and experienced lawyer to join a busy property department focusing on residential property work. The successful candidate will be working directly with a Partner. They will have circa 5 years PQE, and be able to hit the ground running with variety of matter types. They must have excellent technical knowledge as well as a keen interest and proven ability in business development as well as a pro-active approach to risk management. Key requirements for this role are: -
- Essential experience in
- Dealing with all aspect of residential property
- Freehold / Leasehold purchases and sales
- Remortgages
- New Builds both freehold and leasehold purchases.
- Preparing Transfers and new leases in any work for developers.
- New builds with HTB loans
- Re-mortgages including Company owned properties.
- Desirable experience
- Knowledge of commercial property
- Working with a lexcel accredited firm
- Working within a CQS accredited firm
- Portfolio purchases.
- Specific BTL properties
- HMO properties
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Interest in business development
- Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation and working as part of a team where necessary
- Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation
- Be able to demonstrate running own case load efficiently.
- Attention to detail is essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
